Sunday Special: New Toy
And the Easter bunny too.
I’ve been in the market for upgrading my outdoor cooking space, and I finally did it.
I know Blackstone griddles are not new out there, but they are new to me. I finally pulled the trigger and got one. The possibilities are endless for what I can now cook outside. I am very much looking forward to breaking this thing in and seeing what kind of delicious things I can make. I know the key is to season it and also to keep it relatively clean. Two things I tend to neglect with my grill. I clean it, but not as often as I’d like.
The Final Four occurred last night and if things break right, my oldest guy and I have a chance to win some money. Overall, it’s been a good tournament despite the lack of upsets. I think that is going to be the case moving forward with the NIL money out there. The smaller schools just can’t compete. I’ve been wrong before, but not about this one.
The baseball season officially starts on Saturday with Opening Day. We have practices this week and now move into baseball mode around the homestead. The eating two dinners and being out at the field every night begins. And I am absolutely looking forward to it.
Here’s to a productive week ahead.
Until next time.
