Sunday Special: March

Warmer weather is ahead.

It's March 1 today. If I'm not mistaken that's the first day of meteorological spring. Warmer weather is on the way.

I don't have anything against winter and cold weather. If I'm being honest, I actually like it. I like the snow too. What I'm not a big fan of is the current snow slop we have out there now. It dry grass is some areas, mud in others. While other spots are still all snow. We've gotten enough snow this winter and I'm ready for it to be done and melted.

Spring usually teases in March. It gets warm for a day or too and then back below freezing the next.

I'm looking forward to warmer weather this year because I am looking to expand my vegetable garden this year. I also have some spring projects I'm going to complete. Mainly building a long overdue shed in my backyard.

Not only am I looking forward to getting back out into the yard and doing some work, I'm looking forward to baseball season.
